Malta Information Technology Agency is currently looking to recruit a Manager (Data Governance) to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Data Governance Manager within the CTO’s office spearheads various efforts and projects to execute the Data Strategy of the Public Administration. These projects will enable the Public Administration to meet its data governance objectives, by implementing efficient technical solutions (that involve research, design, and implementation) and setting up the required framework to ensure effective Data Governance.
The ideal candidate should combine deep governance and management skills with knowledge of emerging technologies to build a strong data governance and interoperable framework within the Public Administration.
This role involves participation at European Commission expert groups on Data Governance, Interoperability and AI, and potentially taking part in EU-funded projects under Digital Europe Programme and others.

Eligibility Requirements Eligible candidates must satisfy one of the following options in terms of qualifications and / or experience:
i) A qualification in an ICT related area (MQF Level 7 or higher) and 3 years experience in a leadership/architecture/other specific role AND an additional 2 years experience in an ICT related area
ii) A qualification in an ICT related area (MQF Level 6) and 3 years experience in a leadership/architecture/other specific role AND an additional 3 years experience in an ICT related area
iii) Three years’ experience in a leadership/architecture/other specific role AND an additional 7 years experience in an ICT related area.
