V.J Salomone Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an ICT Data Analyst to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

The V.J. Salomone Group is embarking in the implementation of a new well renowned ERP system and is therefore seeking to employ personnel who can together with the ICT team be involved in this project and at the same time provide support and consultancy in the day-to-day tasks requested by the company employees within the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Giving first-line support on the Group’s current ERP systems and Sales Force applications
  • Be involved in the implementation of the new ERP system
  • Extracting data using MS SQL and building of queries
  • Build reports and fix existing ones using SSRS, Power BI & Crystal Reports
  • Create dashboards and reports for key company personnel
  • Meet and collaborate with company personnel to gather their requirements and ensure that the data analysis and reporting processes are aligned with the group’s business objectives ensuring they’re delivered on time
  • Provide guidance to the different companies within the Group upon sound business practices and processes
  • Provide training to the employees in the use of the ERP, Sales Force applications, and Power BI.

Applicants are required to:

  • Be qualified in IT at certificate / diploma level
  • Possess excellent written and spoken English
  • Possess a right to work and reside in Malta.

Other important attributes include:

  • Experience in business applications support
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills to support internal staff
  • An ability to work in a team and be easily approachable
  • Being customer service oriented
  • Having a full and clean driving license together with own transport.
