The National Statistics Office in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Full-Time Survey Interviewer I to join their team on a shift basis.
Job description:
The National Statistics Office is looking for interested candidates to primarily work with a team of interviewers stationed at the Malta International Airport, collecting data through face-to-face interviews for the Tourstat survey, the main source of information on tourism data in the country.
Survey interviewers will use electronic means to collect the data and may also be required to carry out other data-inputting work. Survey Interviewers must be logical, methodical and discreet in their dealings with interviewees.
The successful applicant shall primarily be stationed at the Malta International Airport (departures lounge) and work on a 12-hourly shift basis (day-night-rest-off). However, at the discretion of the Management, interviewers may be required to work on different work-pattern basis.

What we offer?
Salary:
The position of Survey Interviewer I is based on an annual salary of €19,954 in addition to an annual shift allowance of €1144, a class allowance of €400 and public holiday and Sunday shift allowances during the year 2025. The renumeration excludes qualification allowances and any overtime pay, which is reimbursed separately on an ad-hoc basis.
