Data Engineer

Our client is on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join their team in Malta. You will be working on projects involving collecting, analyzing and interpreting large data to drive business insights whilst also working closely with different internal teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and transforming large, complex data sets from various sources.
• Analyzing data using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Developing predictive models to support business decision-making.
• Sharing your suggestions and recommendations with stakeholders.
• Continuously monitoring and improving model performance through testing and validation.
• Providing training to customers that are related to PowerBI and Tableau.

Requirements

• A minimum level of Degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Knowledge in Python, R, or SQL.
• Knowledge of PowerBI and/OR Tableau.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as Databricks, Tensorflow, or similar.
• Excellent command of English, both written
