TII Liaison Officer

Our client a leader within the Insurance Industry is looking for a TII Liaison Officer to join their team 

Responsibilities:

• Answering telephone calls at all times, with particular focus on calls coming from introducers/TIIs.
• Prepare introducers/TIIs quotes and issue new policies and renewals within established limits
• Input data into the underwriting software system/s.
• Take underwriting decisions to attract new or retain existing business
• Chase introducers/TIIs for renewals in order to maintain an acceptable retention rate
• Support the BRM, Underwriting Manager and Team Leader in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective introducers/TIIs.
• Handle and resolve underwriting issues related to introducers/TIIs in an efficient and diligent manner.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of insurance products and regulations.
• Proficiency in Maltese and English languages (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of the Maltese insurance regulatory framework is a plus.

• CII qualified or working relevant insurance qualifications.
