Our client is looking for an Enterprise Support Specialist, where innovation meets expertise. As a key player, you will be involved in various facets, from pre-sales support to project implementation and ongoing customer support. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the design and optimization of customer ICT server/storage infrastructure, networks, and software systems.
  • Stay updated with Server and Storage Enterprise technologies to deploy and support solutions at end customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team, contributing to technical sales presentations, demonstrations, and system design & sizing during the pre-sales process.
  • Lead the project implementation phase, ensuring effective project management, intra-team coordination, and acting as the primary support contact throughout the contract duration.
  • Provide hands-on maintenance, system administration, and operational support for Server and Storage Solutions.
  • Analyze the capacity, availability, and performance of servers and storage, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain close contact with customers throughout support contracts, identifying upsell opportunities, system improvements, and necessary upgrades.
  • Provide hands-on maintenance and support for Vmware ESXi, Linux, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Coordinate vendor notifications and patches to ensure a secure and optimized system environment.
  • Resolve client issues remotely through various channels, ensuring timely and effective solutions. 
  • Act as a catalyst for innovation, expressing ideas confidently and seeing them through to completion and follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, obtaining industry certifications.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers and Perform any other duties determined by the Company, within the Employee’s competency.

  • Minimum of five years of experience working within a similar role.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience in vendor technologies, storage or hardware appliances.
  • Strong Understanding on Virtualised environments, Windows and Linux server operating systems, networking and backup solutions.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT.
