Centrecom Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Airline Sales, Reservations, and Ticketing Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

Provide comprehensive best support across all channels and segments to the Airline’s customers in order to achieve commercial and service level targets. Support the airline and its customers ensuring that all requests are actioned promptly. The Sales, Reservation, and Ticket Officer role is based at the Malta International Airport and it is on a full-time indefinite or part-time indefinite basis. The role may include weekends and/or night shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create reservations, arrange ticketing and fare collection
  • Rebook tickets, execute the necessary changes as required and resolve booking problems
  • Support Duty Manager, Duty Executive, and ground handling in anything they require to provide a service to the airline’s customers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by solving any problems faced and handling all complaints promptly
  • Assist with all ticketing and any other issues on all flights of Aviation Online’s airline partners
  • Daily reconciliation of credit cards, cash, and invoices including paperwork sent to accounting/banking sections
  • Compile regular and ad-hoc reports ensuring these are completed accurately and within the stipulated timeframes
  • Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs
  • Communicate information to clients accurately and appropriately
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge 
  • Being fully conversant on multiple airline platforms and GDSs
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements.

  • Knowledge of an airline system is essential
  • Possess good PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Have an excellent level of spoken and written English. Any additional languages will be considered as an asset
  • Be confident, able to work independently using their own initiative and highly organised
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience of working at an airport is not required but is considered as an asset.
