Junior Sales Executive

A well-established client of ours operating within the Shipping & Maritime industry is searching for a Junior Sales Executive to join their tight-knit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Communicating and being the main point of contact with customers regarding shipment status and updates 
• Prepareingand submitting quotations 
• Following up bookings and port schedules 
• Maintaining freight rates 
• Reviewing and recording incoming orders from our international agency network 
• Assisting with ensuring accuracy of pricing and other details on commercial documents 
• Handling routine correspondence with related parties involved, on a per shipment basis 
• Assisting in prioritizing and scheduling incoming and outgoing shipments 
• Advising Trade Managers of any delays, problems and/or question any irregularities identified within assigned transactions.

• Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
• Excellent command in both Maltese AND English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• A team player, flexible and able to adapt to changing working conditions

• O' Level Standard of Education
• Prior experience in a sales or administrative role is a must
• Candidates with a passion in the shipping/maritime industry will be given preference
