An opportunity has arisen within the Client Relations Management (CRM) Unit for the position of Manager - Client Relations.

As a Manager of Client Relations, you will be MITA’s primary contact point with our clients, and be responsible for building, developing and maintaining business relationships with a number of Ministries under your responsibility, and manage and understand their ICT Requests.  

You will coordinate and liaise with internal MITA Departments that deliver a number of projects and services and convert client service and project requests into contracts. As a manager, you will monitor on an ongoing basis the relationship between MITA’s delivery arms and our clients, recommend ways to improve service delivery and ensure that projects and services delivered by MITA are in line with MITA’s Strategic direction and with government ICT policy and strategy. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with the Ministry Chief Information Officer (CIO), acquire knowledge of client ICT plans and strategies, and provide assistance and consultancy to the CIO with respect to annual budget plans, business cases for ICT Investments, EU Funding, ICT Strategies, contractual frameworks, and emerging ICT trends and solutions of relevance to the Ministry.

This post calls for a motivated individual who wants to further their career in Client Relationship Management and who has a focus on customer satisfaction with a good understanding of ICT and management. Eligible candidates must have one of the following sets of qualifications and/or experience:

Eligibility Requirements:

One of the following qualifications and/or experience in areas related to ICT, as follows:

i) A qualification in an ICT-related area (MQF Level 7 (or higher) AND 3 years experience in a leadership/architecture / other specific role AND an additional 2 years experience in an ICT-related area; OR

ii) A qualification in an ICT-related area (MQF Level 6) AND 3 years experience in a leadership/architecture / other specific role AND an additional 3 years experience in an ICT-related area; OR

iii) 3 years experience in a leadership/architecture / other specific role AND an additional 7 years experience in an ICT-related area.
