Job Summary:

The Head of Payments is responsible for managing and optimizing the entire payment processing ecosystem. This includes ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient financial transactions, overseeing payment integrations, and managing relationships with payment service providers and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Payment Management:

o Develop and implement a robust payments strategy that supports seamless and secure transactions.

o Oversee the integration and maintenance of diverse payment systems and gateways.

• Compliance & Security Oversight:

o Ensure all payment processes comply with relevant financial regulations, anti-fraud policies, and security protocols.

o Collaborate with Risk management team to continuously monitor and improve transaction security.

• Vendor & Partnership Management:

o Manage relationships with payment service providers, negotiating contracts and service agreements.

o Evaluate and onboard new payment technologies and partners to enhance the user experience.

• Process Optimization & Issue Resolution:

o Analyze payment processing data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

o Quickly address and resolve payment-related issues and escalations.

• Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:

o Generate regular reports on payment performance metrics and present findings to senior management.

o Liaise with internal stakeholders to align payment strategies with broader business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payment processing, with significant exposure to the gambling or financial services industries.

• Deep understanding of financial regulations, anti-fraud measures, and compliance standards.

• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency with payment processing software and financial analytics tools.

• Experience with emerging payment technologies and digital wallet solutions.

• Ability to manage risk in a highly regulated environment.
