Business Development Engineer (Construction)

Our client, a construction company based in Greece with offices in Malta are looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team in Malta and help them grow the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, build relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities. Reporting to the CEO and Technical Director, you will be responsible for:

• Source investors and properties for construction contracts, 
• Represent the company to property owners, developers, project managers, and architects, and maintain a comprehensive client database. 
• Build relationships with banks and financing entities in Malta, and assist in feasibility studies and business plans.
• Identify and monitor tenders for public and private projects, coordinate tender participation, and oversee project supervision and contract management alongside engineers and quantity surveyors. 
• Act as the main contractor representative, coordinating communication with clients, project managers, and architects.
• Manage daily business development activities, prepare monthly reports, monitor operational expenses, supervise staff, and liaise with public authorities.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 17:00

• Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the construction industry locally
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive, flexible, and well-organised approach
• A proficient user of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Hold an excellent level of written and verbal English

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
