Our client, a growing large company in Malta is looking for a senior treasury accountant to join their team 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support cash management and funding activities across the business.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning and forecasting.
  • Maintain relationships with banking and financial partners.
  • Oversee payment processes and ensure effective financial controls.
  • Prepare treasury-related reports, analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Track financial obligations and support compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and financial objectives.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements

  • Previous local experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking operations.
  • Experience working with banking facilities, financing arrangements, and covenant monitoring.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field OR Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
