Mafimex Limited, a leading wholesaler and distributor of fresh fruit and vegetables is currently seeking to recruit a dedicated and focused Sales Desk Clerk to support our daily sales administration process..
Responsibilities:
- Receives requests/inquiries from customers and provides information regarding products, delivery times and prices
- Process email and phone purchase orders from customers
- Forwards purchase orders to the warehouse for processing
- Checks that prices quoted on purchase orders tally to own records
- Communicates with customers for any out-of-stock items and price variances
- Data input of sales orders into the accounting system and issue invoices
- Verify the accuracy of billed information to ensure the accuracy of the final invoice
- Liaise with the Warehouse and Logistics department to ensure that orders are dispatched on time
- Follow up on any returned items and outstanding payments
- Provide ad hoc support to the Sales and Administration team
Key Requirements:
- Ability to prioritise tasks and ensure accurate data entry
- Fast typing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle customer queries calmly
- Fluency in both Maltese and English is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements
- Experience as an Office / Invoice Clerk is preferred
- Can work early morning opening hours and/or late afternoon hours
- Job schedule: Monday through Saturday, with Thursday off day
