PSS Holdings LTD in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Office and Accounts Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient office and accounts administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring that operations within the company are efficiently executed. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting, organisational, communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Recording and managing daily financial transactions which include payables and receivables
  • Processing of invoices, expenses and payment requests
  • Monitoring and chasing of debtors payments
  • Reconciling of bank statements
  • Analysing Sales figures on both Accounting Systems and reconcile
  • Issue payment run and perform supplier reconciliations
  • Maintain and reconcile cash books and petty cash
  • Managing the payroll process, which includes calculating employee salaries, and deductions, and ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Updating records of employee vacation and sick leave
  • Bank Communication with bank relationship managers to manage banking tasks and inquiries
  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails
  • Maintain and update company databases and records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Matriculation certificate or equivalent
  • Accounting qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Ability to communicate in Maltese and English.
