Key Account Manager

Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team. Here you'll manage strategic client relationships, coordinate smooth onboarding experiences, and identify opportunities to grow client accounts across a range of payment and banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic client accounts and build long-term relationships.
• Act as the main point of contact throughout the client onboarding journey, coordinating with internal teams.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience and resolve client queries and escalations.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase client engagement.
• Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Technology teams.
• Monitor account performance, onboarding progress, and client satisfaction.
• Provide regular account reviews and commercial insights to support business growth.
• Ensure clients understand regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML and KYC.

Requirements

• 2–5 years' experience in fintech, payments, banking, EMIs, PSPs, or financial services.
• Experience in account management, customer success, onboarding, or client relationship management.
• Good understanding of payment solutions and regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, PSD2).
• Commercial mindset with the ability to grow existing client relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or onboarding platforms are an advantage.
• Experience within EMIs, PSPs, merchant acquiring, card issuing, or embedded finance.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, compliance workflows, or onboarding tools.
• Experience working with regulated or high-risk industries such as fintech, digital assets, travel, or e-commerce.
