MST Audio Visual in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Events Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.

Salary reflective on the weekly hours worked, as is calculated pro-rata

Overview:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about logistics and the events industry. The candidate should be willing to work in the audiovisual sector, coordinating and assigning human resources. We are open to recruiting both candidates on a part time or a reduced hours basis. Hours are very flexible and can be worked anytime between 9am and 7pm. The role can be worked on both a remote or hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan logistics and assign resources for project execution
  • This includes liaising with venues and clients to draft up work schedules
  • Allocate human resources effectively for event execution. This includes communicating with full time, part time, and freelance staff
  • Ensure all data is updated which includes client & venue details, as well as timings, for final billing
  • Ensure that all employee timesheets have been submitted in a timely manner and check for cost overruns
  • Plan for internal company meetings and take minutes
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures for staff.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Experience in administration or events is mandatory
  • Willingness to learn new software (such as internal management tools)
  • Based in Malta and holds a clean driving licence
  • All applicants must hold a valid working visa in Malta
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, however, knowledge of Maltese would be considered an asset.
