Following an increase in demand for our funeral and cremation services, Active Assistance Services Limited in Malta is seeking to hire a Customer Care and Service Manager (Maltese Speaking) on a Full-Time basis.

Forming part of a small team and reporting directly to the Director, the duties will include: 

  • Acting as first point of contact with existing and potential clients. 
  • Responding to incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.  
  • Meeting clients and families at one of our offices or any location as may be required.
  • Coordination of ongoing funeral, cremation, and repatriation services. 
  • Corresponding with our international correspondents, airlines, consulates, and other public relations.  
  • Supporting and providing guidance to families in distress, in a caring and compassionate manner.  
  • Planning and coordinating funeral arrangements in accordance with family wishes. 
  • General office administration as may be required and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.


Requirements:  

  • The position requires a smart, dynamic, goal-driven individual with excellent communication and social skills. 
  • Job will require applicant to attendant oversee funeral services as they are carried out (at mortuary, church and cemetery).
  • Nature of work requires applicant to be on standby on most Saturdays and to provide remote assistance (email and whattsapp) to families, sometimes even past office hours. 
  • Applicant must be capable to deliver professional services with understanding and compassion, ensuring that every detail relating to our services are carried out with care, dignity, and respect. 
  • Professional standard of spoken English and Maltese languages is a must.  
  • A driving license is essential.    
  • Knowledge of accounts, book keeping and experience in administrative roles will be considered assets. 


This is a position of potential growth and advancement in a long-established and still expanding company.

Generous Performance and Sales Incentives will be paid in addition to an average monthly salary.

Total expected annual salary for the right applicant Euro23,000 - Euro28,000 per year.

 
Working hours:  

  • Working on average 40 hours/week, including occasional Saturdays.   
  • Standby duty from home 1 Sunday per month and some Public holidays.
