Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant

Are you a detail-oriented individual fluent in both English and French, eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic work environment? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Operations Department as an Administrative Assistant. This position offers a definite contract employment, providing you with valuable experience and skills in document management, claims administration, customer care, and general administration.

Responsibilities:

1. Document Management:

  • Learn to ensure accurate and prompt scanning and archiving of documents and medical envelopes.
  • Assist in handling administrative tasks related to creating claims and managing the email inbox for medical and claims inquiries.
  • Gain experience in coordinating outgoing postal items and managing the acknowledgment process efficiently.
  • Participate in data entry tasks and learn about proper file management.

2. Claims Administration:

  • Receive guidance on properly storing all received documentation and handling documents according to established procedures.
  • Learn to manage mail and emails promptly and follow up on claims to ensure efficient progress.
  • Assist the Complaints Officer in updating and filing complaints. 

3. Customer Care:

  • Interact with clients via various communication channels such as chat, phone, forms, and emails.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide assistance throughout the customer journey, aiming for successful conversion of inquiries to policies.
  • Address concerns raised by clients or prospective clients.

4. General Administration:

  • Provide support in general administrative tasks such as welcoming guests, handling mail, and receiving office supplies orders.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and French languages.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Previous experience in claims administration or customer care roles is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
