About Financial Stability

The Financial Stability function is responsible for identifying and assessing risks which have the potential to spread within the financial sector and the real economy (systemic risks). Through its own macroprudential research and analysis of the financial sector, which covers the banking, insurance and securities sectors, the function contributes to the formulation of policies aimed at mitigating identified risk.

About The Role

As an administrative assistant within Financial Stability, you will be responsible for the following job accountabilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Function; 
  • Update records, checklists and information in various databases included but not limited to collection and validation of data;
  • Undertake physical and IT filing and managing of files to ensure easy retrieval of documents;
  • Assistance in the preparation of reports and data quality checks;
  • Drafting of documents and correspondence;
  • Communicate with stakeholders in relation to any pending documentation or statistical returns that is required and to ensure that this is provided accordingly;
  • Preparing for internal and external meetings and take minutes of meetings as may be necessary;
  • Other duties according to the exigencies as may be required.

About You

We are looking for candidates with interest in the financial services area.

The role calls for an academic qualification in the relevant field of study at National Qualification Framework Level 5 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.

If you do not have the necessary academic or professional qualifications but you have at least three (3) years working experience, we would still be interested in speaking with you. Candidates with longer working experience relevant to the role will be preferred.
