Tax Junior Consultant

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is currently seeking to recruit a Junior Tax Consultant to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry to mid-level professional to gain hands-on experience, exposure to a diverse client portfolio, and continuous professional development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing company tax returns and tax computations.
• Assisting with the preparation of tax refund claims and shareholder registration forms.
• Supporting the processing of tax-related documentation, including double tax relief certificates, tax compliance certificates, and tax residence certificates.
• Assisting in the preparation of FATCA, CRS, and other DAC-related filings.
• Supporting the team in advising clients on Maltese tax implications and international tax developments.
• Assisting in tax due diligence assignments.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client work.
• Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the role.

Requirements:

• Ideally a minimum of 1 year of relevant tax experience.
• Master’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA-qualified (or currently in progress).
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English.
