Senior Financial Accountant

A client of ours, an international financial services entity based in Malta specialising in the insurance sector, is currently looking to onboard a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Preparing the management accounts, financial statements, tax and regulatory returns
• Assistance with treasury management and analysis
• Assistance with intra-group reporting and analysis
• Coordinating with external audits and internal audits
• Supporting in the running of the accounting department 
• Additional ad-hoc reporting as requested by management

• Previous working experience within the insurance will be considered to be a strong asset
• Must have three + years' of experience in a senior accounting role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must be good team player with excellent intercultural skills and a positive attitude

• Must be In possession of a University Degree in Accounting / Finance or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA
