A client of ours, an international financial services entity based in Malta specialising in the insurance sector, is currently looking to onboard a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team of professionals:
Duties:
- Preparing the management accounts, financial statements, tax and regulatory returns
- Assistance with treasury management and analysis
- Assistance with intra-group reporting and analysis
- Coordinating with external audits and internal audits
- Supporting in the running of the accounting department
- Additional ad-hoc reporting as requested by management
- Previous working experience within the insurance will be considered to be a strong asset
- Must have three + years' of experience in a senior accounting role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be good team player with excellent intercultural skills and a positive attitude
- Must be In possession of a University Degree in Accounting / Finance or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA
- Medical insurance
