Accounts Clerk

Our client, operating within the travel, leisure and retail is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities: 

• Issuing of invoices and customer statements
• Debtor chasing
• Posting of cash, cheques and bank receipts
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting of VAT returns
• Issuing purchase orders
• Processing of payment runs to suppliers
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts 
• Posting of payroll entries and submitting FS5
• Reconciliation of purchases, sales and cash transactions
• Assisting during the audit process
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time

• Minimum three years experience in a similar role
• Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese

• A minimum A level standard of education is required
