Junior Accountant
Our client in the Hospitality Industry is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with bookkeeping
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and bank accounts
- Handling VAT returns
- Handles payables and receivables
- Assisting and preparing management accounts on a monthly basis
- Supporting in the audit process
- Working closely with the CFO to prepare budgeting, forecasting and cash flows
- Supporting the accounting department with day to day duties
- A minimum of 2-3 years of local experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
- Previous experience working with Shireburn would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry is a preference
- Actively studying ACCA or equivalent
