A highly reputable client of ours, specialised within the FMCG and Manufacturing sectors is looking to onboard a Group Finance Manager to join their team of professionals. The designated person will be reporting to the Group CFO and will assist with growing the team and be part of various strategic and operational decisions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong financial controls across the business:

Duties:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting across Group entities.
  • Prepare and support the consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts, also supporting the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory and tax requirements.
  • Act as a key contact point for auditors and support the audit process.
  • Perform variance analysis and prepare performance reports for management.
  • Provide analytical support to improve cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital across the Group, and support treasury activities, including bank reconciliations, funding monitoring, and forex exposure tracking.
  • Assist in optimising financing costs and banking arrangements.
  • Maintain day-to-day relationships with banks, financial institutions, and various stakeholders as required
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within finance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of financial systems and reporting tools, also assisting in strengthening internal controls, including intercompany processes.

Requirements

  • 5 + years local’ experience in finance roles, with strong exposure to reporting and compliance.
  • Solid experience overseeing financial management, consolidation support, budgeting, and treasury monitoring.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment will be considered a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Education and Experience

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified, or at the final stages of being so
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Applicants who are locally warranted will be given strong preference
