Our client, a group of companies operating within the Construction industry is currently looking for a Financial Supervisor who will be reporting to the CFO.
Duties include:
Preparation of quarterly management accounts
Contribute towards operating budget preparations and cashflow forecasts
Assisting in VAT returns preparation
Monitoring of cash flows and operating budgets and attend monthly/weekly departmental meetings
Monitor the day to day book keeping process and review bank reconciliations on a daily basis
Designing, implementing and reviewing internal controls
Implement and manage internal controls governing the company’s inventory control system
Processing of the Works In Progress function relating to all projects
Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and ensure that the required financial reports are submitted in a timely manner
Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary companies
Payroll analysis, budgeting and monitoring of productivity
Liaising with external bodies, including external auditors
Monitor competitor activity and stay updated about latest industry trends
Skill-sets and Requirements
3+ years of local experience within the accounting field
Proficient in the use of accounting software applications, experience in Sage Evolution will be considered an asset
Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English
