Our client an international company is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their growing company.
Duties include:
To ensure the timely production of all budgets, forecasts, management and statutory reports to meet the company's and the Group’s requirements.
Ensure that rigorous financial and other operating controls are implemented and enforced throughout the company.
Manage the annual budget of the company – preparing ad-hoc forecasts and analysis as required.
Prepare financial models, including tax planning, funding models, acquisition and restructuring plans and other major investments.
Prepare/review management accounts and supporting documentation ensuring that standard management accounts meet the needs of the business, managing changes to format and content.
Manage the statutory annual audit process and provide strategic risk and internal control reviews.
Coordination of operational banking relationships and bank/internal borrowing.
Manage cash flow/credit control, preparing forecasts as necessary.
Manage payroll, PAYE/S.S., VAT and other corporate tax issues.
Select, train, develop and motivate the employees in your responsibility within the Finance Team.
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of local experience in an Accounting role
Strong knowledge related to taxation rules ideally within an international sphere
Proven experience of working on group consolidated accounts within an international group of companies is preferred
Strong understanding of IFRS and ideally have experience of US GAAP
