Bonnici Brothers Ltd. in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Finance Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

As we grow and develop, we are now seeking a highly motivated and organised Finance Executive to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Month-end accounting processes and reconciliations
  • Compiling of monthly management accounts within established timeframes
  • Preparing of other monthly reporting or analysis on an ad-hoc basis
  • Compiling and submitting VAT declarations
  • Liaising with auditors in connection with the statutory audit
  • Liaising with banks when necessary
  • Assisting in the compilation of financial budgets
  • Reconciliation of inter-company balances
  • Assisting junior members of the team
  • Other duties normally performed in a finance department. 


The successful candidate should have:

  • An accountancy qualification (ACCA or University degree) along with 2-3 years of experience
  • Candidates in the final stages of their studies (either ACCA or University degree) and having a minimum of three years experience in a similar position will also be considered
  • A can-do attitude as well as being self-motivated and efficient
  • The ability to work both individually and within a team with minimal supervision
  • Competency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and preferably also Maltese
