Client Accounting Manager

Our client is an accounting firm with exponential growth in Malta, and they are currently looking to recruit a Client Accounting Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate shall be responsible for:

• Leading the client accounting team;
• Oversee all aspects of the team’s work: ensuring high levels of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction;
• Monitor team performance and be involved in target setting;
• Manage team workflows, workloads, and deadlines;
• Assist other team members as their primary point of contact and review work where appropriate;
• Responsible for a portfolio of top tier clients operating in varied industries; actively managing and enhancing relationships with clients;
• Completing VAT returns and management accounts, and liaising with auditors;
• Preparing ad-hoc financial reports by analysing accounting information;
• Re-assess and propose improvements to systems and processes as and when required.

Education & Experience:

• ACCA qualified or equivalent;
• Ideally close to 3 - 5 years experience;
• Excellent practical experience of accounting standards, Maltese VAT and income tax legislation;
• Previous experience in managing a team or assisting in the management of a team shall be considered an asset.
