Job Role:
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our finance team by handling daily administrative tasks, ensuring deadlines are met, and assisting with various financial reporting activities. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Senior Accountant. 


  • Manage accounts payable and receivable ledger with precision and accuracy
  • Thoroughly review invoices for any inaccuracies and discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger to ensure financial integrity
  • Address general account queries promptly and professionally
  • Execute bank transfers promptly to meet payment deadlines
  • Prepare detailed bank reconciliations and diligently analyse any discrepancies
  • Facilitate the preparation and upload of monthly advice for insurance receivables and payables
  • Assist in the preparation of various transfer order forms for commissions, premium taxes payable, claims, and internal payments
  • Maintain efficient intercompany recharging activities to support financial transparency
  • Post accruals and prepayments accurately to reflect financial transactions
  • Collaborate with auditors during interim and year-end audits, providing necessary support and documentation
  • Support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.


  • Educational Background: A Finance-related qualification or ongoing studies in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience: Prior experience in accounts payable, accounting or finance roles is advantageous. Entry-level candidates with relevant internships or coursework may also be considered
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping
  • Problem-solving ability: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records efficiently
  • Team Player: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
