Client Accountant

A Boutique CSP is currently on the lookout for a Client Accountant to join their growing company. 

Duties include: 

• Assisting with the review of the book-keeping of client entities and preparation of financial statements
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and assistance with the refund process
• Acting as a point of contact for clients
• Keeping abreast of the accounting and regulatory developments taking place locally
• Drafting accounting policies and procedures where necessary 
• Coordination with and liaising with Authorities, auditors and other third parties in Malta
• Determining and timely managing matters of top priority and handling such matters accordingly
• Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Directors.

• Minimum of 2-3 years local experience in an Accounting position
• Able to use judgement and initiative in applying standard work practices and solving day to day problems
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• In advanced stages or fully qualified through ACCA or similar
