Accounts Officer

A client of ours, a large group of companies operating in various industries is looking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be assigned to work on a specific portfolio of companies within the group

Responsibilities:

• Conducting general bookkeeping tasks such as invoice posting, reconciliations, invoicing, and other duties up to trial balance
• Timely processing of payments
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
• Coordinating with auditors and other stakeholders as needed
• Debtor chasing
• Handling document filing responsibilities
• Undertaking any additional duties as required

• Understanding of basic accounting principles, terminology, and processes
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and communication skills in English

• A minimum of O'level in Accounts or better
