Accounts Officer

Walsh's Ltd manages the catering of the different food outlets at the Great Dane Restaurant at Mellieha.

We are looking for an accounts professional to join our team as an Accounts Officer.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in a professional accounting office environment.

The ideal candidate should also have a good eye for detail and be able to adapt and multitask.

Candidates must:

• Carry out other duties assigned by the Accountant
• Assist in all aspects of the upkeep of day-to-day accounting records, including but not limited to data inputting
• Assist with end-of-month routines, including bank reconciliations
• Pays attention to details
• Be organised and self-motivated
• Be willing to learn and adapt to changes
• Be able to work in a team as well as on its own initiative
• Office work including: handling phone calls, emails and bookings
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Accountant, Marketing Manager and HR
• HR tasks
• Writing of letters
• Typing of Menus / Designing labels, laminating & cutting, and other related duties
• Keep precise records of incoming and outgoing payments for an organisation
