Accounts Executive

Our client, an international school is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to take responsibility of the accounting function. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities: 

• Process purchase orders with accounts payables and receivables, supplier invoices, and monthly invoices, ensuring proper coding and reconciliation.
• Prepare payment runs, reconcile supplier statements, and accurately allocate payments.
• Assist in preparing management accounts, financial reports, and statutory submissions.
• Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with NSO submissions and audit preparations in tax and vat returns.
• Update and reconcile accounts with balance sheets, ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
• Support the Finance Manager in general admin duties and finance-related tasks.

• Experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with a solid grasp of accounting principles.
• Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial operations and accuracy.
• Someone who is flexible, resilient, and able to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English

• A team player who values collaboration and cultural diversity.

• A certificate in Accounting or Finance, or in the early stages of ACCA qualification

• Summer half days
• Hybrid working after probation
