Financial Controller

Our client, operating within various industries is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. The selected person will be heading the Finance team and have the following responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the finance department
• Monitoring and reviewing the financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payables and receivables
• Preparing budgeting and forecasting
• Analyzing monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Submitting VAT returns in a timely manner
• Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
• Liaising with auditors and other third parties
• Advising on tendering processes 
• Over sees budgeting of departments
• Overseeing and managing chasing of debtors 
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time

• Minimum 5 years of local experience working in a similar role
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Possess excellent intrapersonal skills
• Meticulous with a key eye for detail
