Accounts Executive

Our client, a global investment company that builds companies at the very forefront of biotech, spacetech, deep tech, fintech, and crypto, is looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining transparent and efficient records of accounts.
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
- Preparing bank and other reconciliations.
- Preparing and monitoring accruals and prepayments.
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
- Updating lease schedules.
- Preparing quarterly VAT reports.
- Collaborate with the audit team to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Carrying out daily and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounts and provide support in various day-to-day accounting tasks to contribute to the overall financial success of our projects.
- Previous local experience working within a similar role
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Fluency in English whilst knowledge of German would be considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of SUN Systems accounting software will be considered an advantage.
- Have good knowledge of MS office, particularly MS Excel
- Applicants must as a minimum have an A'level standard of education in accounting. Preference will be given to candidates in the early stages of pursuing ACCA.
