Management Accountant

A group of companies is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to work for their new business operating within the educational sector to handle all their accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and journal entries
• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Ensuring deadlines are being met with regard to repayments of VAT and FSS
• Liaising with other departments to assist service-users as necessary
• Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time

• At least 2 years of previous local experience doing up to the preparation of management accounts
• Able to work independently
• Ambitious with a can-do approach to work

• In the last stages of ACCA or fully-qualified
