Accounts Administrator

Comtec Service Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Accounts Administrator on a full-time basis.

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide essential support in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts department. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Able to communicate in Maltese (written not required)
• Proven work experience as an accounts administrator, bookkeeper, or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
