We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based data architecture and drive the best practices on data modeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and a deep understanding of data management best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient solutions that meet the organization's data requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 

Cloud Data Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud data strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud technologies and services for data storage, processing and analytics.

 

Data Modeling and Design:

  • Design and implement robust and scalable data models for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the architecture supports analytical and reporting needs.

 

Data Integration:

  • Architect and implement data integration pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into the cloud data platform.
  • Ensure seamless and efficient data flow across different systems and platforms.
  • Architect and Implement Real Time data Pipelines, supporting real-time analytics and machine learning models for real-time inference.

 

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce data security and privacy measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and compliance requirements related to data management in the cloud.

 

Performance Optimisation:

  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data storage and processing systems to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement caching, indexing, and other performance tuning techniques to enhance overall system performance.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

 

 

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Snowflake) and their data-related services.
  • Strong proficiency in database technologies, data warehousing, and big data solutions.
  • Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
  • Experience with streaming and real-time data pipelines and Analytics
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
