About Department

Technology is at the core of the knowledge-based organisation. It enables MFSA's strategic and operational objectives to be achieved efficiently and effectively.

The Technology team is made up of professionals specialised in relevant areas that include governance and planning, information systems, software development, information security, technology operations, and service management. Officials from Technology also participate and give their contribution in several European committees, expert groups, and industry fora.

About the Role

As a Junior Assistant (intern), you will contribute towards the day-to-day duties of the IT Planning team and work on the following tasks:

  • Processing and reconciliation of Technology related Invoices.
  • Updating of the Technology Budget Sheet with each purchase Order and / or contract issued, and for invoices received.
  • Processing of minor purchases requests, including obtaining internal approvals, for minor purchase requests within the Technology Function.
  • Handling of Hardware Repairs Requests from Tech Support team.
  • Any other general administration duties within the Governance and Planning Team as and when required.

About You

You are a dynamic team player who is energetic and motivated to contribute with creative solutions.

You will have a passion in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related areas, and currently in the stage of obtaining a qualification in the relevant field at National Qualification Framework Level 5 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.
