IT Technical Support Specialist

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Network Support Technician to be the go-to person for network-related support within the team. 

Responsibilities:

• Configure, install, and maintain network hardware—including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points—to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor network performance and system health to maintain high availability, security, and overall stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of connectivity issues, providing timely and effective technical support.
• Act as the first point of contact for network-related support requests, delivering prompt and professional assistance.
• Document all troubleshooting steps, solutions, and network configurations with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work closely with senior IT staff and external vendors to support network upgrades, enhancements, and security initiatives.
• Assist and educate end-users on networking best practices and basic self-help troubleshooting techniques.

• Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs, along with hands-on experience using common network troubleshooting tools
• Experience in configuring firewalls, setting up VPNs, and managing wireless network environments
• Fluent in English with clear and effective communication skills, both written and spoken
• A strong can-do attitude with a high level of motivation
• Licensed driver with own car

• Possession of a Cisco CCNA certification is an asset
• Previous local experience of at least 1 year in networking
