The Wow

As a Platform Product Owner, you will be part of a team leading the development of our in-house proprietary platform, which powers our operations across multiple customer touchpoints on an international scale. You will be assigned product responsibility for specific parts of the platform and for specific initiatives on the product roadmap. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders and the wider product organisation on developing and improving the capabilities of the platform as a strategic asset for the group. 

 

What we are looking for
  • 2+ years of working experience as a product owner or product manager. 
  • Highly skilled and experienced in collecting requirements and producing product specifications.  
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, APIs, and data integration. 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. 
  • Experience with analytics tools and metrics-driven decision making.
  Great if you have
  • Relevant experience in the gaming industry and knowledgeable on the requirements of one or more jurisdictions. 
  • A technical background in software engineering. 
  • Familiarity with functional and non-functional KPIs.  
  • Experience working with platforms that serve multiple customer touchpoints. 
  • Experience working with geographically distributed development teams. 
  • Strong organisational, planning and project management skills.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Good presentation skills. 
  • Professional working proficiency in English. 
  A taster of what you will be involved with
  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.  
  • Actively lead or participate in product discovery activities (such as identifying user needs, requirements gathering, scoping and solution design).  
  • Produce detailed product specifications in the form of user stories with detailed acceptance criteria (functional and non-functional), complemented by visual aids where relevant. 
  • Clearly inform engineering teams about the work that is prioritised and why, so that they are motivated to build optimal solutions. 
  • Provide the necessary product support to the engineering teams as may be required to aid their delivery, including active participation in agile ceremonies. 
  • Actively support roadmap planning and manage deliveries from start to end, including active co-ordination with stakeholders and other teams as and when required. 
  • Ensure that the product development backlog is properly organised, prioritised, and kept up to date. 
  • Contribute to the product vision, and champion this vision with stakeholders and the engineering teams. 
  • Communicate product status, progress, and upcoming milestones to stakeholders. 
  • Hold effective presentations (including demos and trainings) with stakeholders for new product concepts and releases as and when required. 
  • Ensure that effective KPIs and data collection mechanisms are in place to understand product performance.  
  • Monitor platform performance and KPIs to identify opportunities for optimisation. 
  • Ensure that relevant product documentation and wikis are well maintained. 
  • Perform user acceptance testing of new product releases (or ensure co-ordination of).
