Junior IT Administrator

Our client, within the IT Support and Services industry is growing and they are looking for a Junior IT Administrator to join their team in Malta.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Offering IT support for technical issues concerning Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
• Assisting with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Providing basic technical support for network connectivity, including WAN and LAN configurations, routers, firewalls, and security measures.
• Setting up and troubleshooting basic remote access solutions like VPN and Terminal Services.
• Monitoring system alerts and notifications using remote monitoring and management systems, and managing them through service tickets.
• Maintaining communication with clients, ensuring they are kept informed of incident progress and any planned changes or outages.

• Ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
• Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and good customer care skills
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• A Diploma or Degree in IT OR some work experience in a similar role.
