IT Systems Administrator

What's expected of you?

• Offer first-line support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems
• Promptly address and resolve user inquiries and issues through in-person assistance, phone calls, or email
• Escalate more complex problems to senior IT staff when required
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and patch management
• Monitor system performance and report any anomalies
• Support the management of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network segments
• Aid in the configuration and upkeep of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in line with company policies
• Manage permissions and access rights to ensure data security

What are you expected to bring?

• A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar position
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or equivalent
• Proficiency in task management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team collaboration abilities
• Rapid problem-solving and analytical skills
