Cloud Solution Specialist

Our client operating in the IT industry is looking for a ACCA qualified accountant who wants to make the switch to IT and join their growing team as a Cloud Solutions Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on the latest developments in cloud accounting platforms like Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Zoho Books.
• Assess features such as invoicing, expense tracking, payroll, financial reporting, and system integrations.
• Recommending industry-specific solutions based on the clients' needs.
• Assist clients with generating detailed financial reports using advanced tools available in cloud platforms.
• Help clients interpret and understand reports for better decision-making.
• Guide clients on customizing reports to meet business models and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal IT teams to develop and execute implementation plans for cloud accounting software.
• Ensure smooth migration of financial data from legacy systems to cloud platforms, maintaining data integrity and security.
• Set up client accounts, configure tax rates, define user permissions, and align platform settings with business goals.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting during the cloud adoption process.
• Analyze existing accounting workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement optimized workflows using cloud solutions to streamline accounting tasks and boost productivity.
• Integrate cloud accounting with other systems like CRM and payroll to enable seamless data exchange.
• Help clients effectively use advanced features of the cloud accounting platform.
• Offer tailored advice to ensure clients can confidently manage their accounting processes and troubleshoot issues.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in inventory-based businesses, finance, ERP, or SaaS environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with platforms like Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho, and other SaaS accounting tools is a plus. Experience working with SaaS, accounting, payroll, and cloud marketplaces is an asset.

• ACCA, ICAEW, ACA, or equivalent qualifications (fully qualified).
