Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Our tech industry client is seeking a Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS.
You'll be tasked with delivering technical solutions to both local and international client, using the latest technologies, with a focus on:
- Promoting the use of automation to solve technical challenges.
- Finding cost-effective solutions
- Manage Linux and Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Develop and maintain Bash and PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline processes.
- Dealing with external clients and providing the insight they require as well as troubleshooting and solve any technical problems that they might have.
- Integrate and manage web services and APIs for seamless application functionality.
- Manage and optimize databases to support application requirements.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, working closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments.
- Knowledge and experience on CI/CD and Terraform
- A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience on AWS.
- Experience on Linux and Bash scripting.
- One week per month you will be on a 24/7 roster basis. This will start after your training.
- Must be already based in Malta.
- A Degree in IT, Computer Science or any other IT-related field.
- Either hold a certification in AWS or be actively working towards obtaining one.
