Racking Inspector

The role of the Racking Inspector is with Storage Systems Limited. The role is being offered both on a full-time or on a part-time basis. 

The Racking Inspector will be responsible for: 

• Carry out racking safety and site inspections in accordance with applicable European standards on all system types, write accurate reports detailing the results of said inspections, enabling the client to make an informed decision on actions to be taken 
• Complete inspection paperwork in accordance with The Company standard terminology and process the paperwork with the relevant department so that it can be filed accordingly as well as collect all necessary data/evidence of all issues/damage including photographs, ensuring it is all downloaded on the computer system on return to the office
• Prepare a material quotation sheet for all racking safety inspections completed in order for an accurate quotation to be provided using agreed systems and procedures as well as liaise with clients upon completion of inspections, going through damage identified including immediate action points along with the next step in the process
• Organise work schedule and carry out the work as identified in the job pack in a timely and effective manner ensuring all relevant method statements and risk assessments are adhered to, communicated and understood
• Report any work carried out by The Company that has not been completed to a high standard to the relevant department in order to maintain the quality of work being done. 

Essential requirements: 

• Previous work experience in a similar role 
• A clean police conduct 
• A clean driving licence  
• Excellent communication skills in both the Maltese and English language.
