The Bonnici Group (Malta) are seeking an experienced, qualified, and self-motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team of specialists working at the forefront of civil engineering as well as other exciting construction industry projects essential to the ongoing successful evolution of the infrastructure of the Maltese Islands.

Joining our existing team of energetic and dynamic professionals, the successful candidate will be taking responsibility for:

  • Providing the Group with commercial efficiency and contractual advice
  • Negotiating variations to the scope of works
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
  • Preparing detailed and comprehensive cost estimates for construction and civil infrastructure projects
  • Tracking and ensuring timely payments to contractors and suppliers
  • Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring that every project remains well within budget
  • Following up on completion certificates and ensuring their timely issuance
  • Ensuring Industry and Group Quality Assurance best practices are followed at all times.


Professional and/or Experiential Requirements:

You will have qualified with a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related professional field and preferably have at least 5 years of experience or accelerated project experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction or a comparable industry. You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and hands-on experience in contract administration
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
