MEP Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join one of the most prestigious and reputable Building Services companies in Malta . As the project manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing labour and material, including budgets, project deadlines, and client relations on some of Malta's best projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets, in collaboration with the project team and other stakeholders
• Monitor project progress against established plans, identify potential risks and issues, and take corrective action as needed to keep the project on track
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that drawings and specifications meet project requirements and are delivered on schedule
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, and act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication
• Lead regular project meetings, including progress meetings and design reviews, and ensure that meeting minutes and action items are documented and communicated effectively
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client
• Manage project risks and issues, including identifying potential problems and implementing mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, budgets, and other project-related documents
• Motivate and manage the project team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure that team members are working effectively and efficiently
• Develop and implement project-specific policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within the project team and the wider organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and processes
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a project team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software
