We are looking for experienced Warehouse staff to join our team and take charge of the daily distribution of material and parts for the renewables installations. The Warehouse Personnel will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring timely product deliveries, maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment, and forming part of a team of dedicated warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and control inventory levels for both the parts and material
  • Implement efficient inventory management processes to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Coordinate regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.

Warehouse Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
  • Ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and supply of products.
  • Support and optimize warehouse layout and organisation for maximum efficiency and safety.
  • Preparing of assembly material for the next day of installations, as may be required on a daily basis.

Team Leadership:

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability among warehouse staff.
  • Checking and signing off timesheets on a daily basis.

Quality Control:

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Address and resolve any quality or inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Reconcile shipments received against respective documents (packing list, invoices, delivery notes) against actual quantities received.
  • Reporting any discrepancies in quantities received to the Warehouse and Operations responsible

Safety and Compliance:

  • Uphold safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and industry compliance standards.
  • Work in a safe manner.
  • Owner a lifter driving license
  • Owner of a C driving license

Process Improvement:

  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:

  • Collaborate with installers, technical and suppliers to ensure on-time product deliveries together with the Logistics team.
  • Manage relationships and resolve issues with external partners as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in works
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Use of softwares and systems
