Stores Assistant

V.J. Salomone Consumer Lines in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Stores Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The selected candidate will report directly to the Stores Manager. The primary responsibilities shall include the picking of merchandise according to pick lists in a timely and professional manner, the preparation of client orders, loading and unloading of merchandise, carrying out stock movements within the warehouse, stacking the shelves on a daily basis and stock taking.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining all store areas to the highest corporate safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in store inventory and stock-taking upon request
• Assisting during the loading of merchandise
• Assist the Store Keeper in all necessary stock movements especially when required to make necessary space for the arrival of goods.

Requirements:

• Ability to speak, read and write in both Maltese and English
• Willing to learn and possess a can-do attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Organised and able to multitask.
